Projects
Group log sources, incidents, and reports under a project.
Projects let you scope everything — log sources, incidents, reports, tracing — to a specific product, team, or environment within your organization.
Switching projects
Use the project switcher at the top of the sidebar to scope the whole console to a single project, or select "All projects" to see everything in the organization at once.
Renaming a project
On Projects, use the pencil icon to change a project's name at any time — the name is display-only, so nothing else is affected.
The same dialog can change the project's slug, which is a different matter: the slug is the value forwarders send as fields.project at ingest, and the value log and trace filters match on. After changing it, update every forwarder that references the old slug — until you do, their events arrive untagged. Events already ingested keep their project and are unaffected.
